Scholastic "Paws for Books" Book Fair!
A.L. Horton will be hosting our Spring Scholastic Book Fair from Monday, March 5, 2018., through Friday, March 9th. 2018, from 8:30a.m. to 3:30p.m.. The theme for the book fair this fall is “PAWS FOR BOOKS” –
COME. STAY. READ A GREAT TALE !!!!!!!”
The library will be open during the day as well as during Parent/Teacher Interviews, and everyone is welcome to check out the selection. Attached please find Scholastic Book fair showcasing a few of the interesting books for sale!!! Parents, grandparents and the community are welcome to visit the book fair throughout the day and during the late nights – Wednesday, March 7, 2018 3:30p.m.-7:30p.m. and Thursday, March 8, 2018, 3:30p.m.-5:30p.m.
Proceeds from the book fair directly support the purchasing of new student resources in the library. Reading is a very important part of your child’s education. Be interested in their reading by asking them what they are reading and share your love of reading with them. Great time to get your “PAWS” on some great reading!!!!
Ask your child about the “READ FOR GOLD” reading theme from our read-in week activities, and how they plan to work towards earning their reading medal.
